There are lots of exciting
things to be wrote when talking about Aerosmith's Frontman Steven
Tyler. This rocker has such a full life, besides touring and
fronting the best rock n roll band in the world. Steven Tyler
is no stranger to charitable donations and brings in money to many
different charities, and in lots of different ways. He is
involved in a Boston Cell Phone Tour that he narrates pointing out
places to see and the highlights of Boston. The tour takes
approx. 2 hours to walk, but Steven Tyler's narration via cell phone
lasts about 40 minutes, as he shares historical tidbits and to a
background of him singing his classic rock hit "Walk this
Way" as he appeals to Boston visitors to join him on a city
walking tour and check out city landmarks. As of March
2006 the tour cost is $5.95 with a portion of the money raised going
to The United Way of Massachusetts Bay. |
 |
Steven Tyler has also been
involved with MusicCares MAP Fund and has created a t-shirt he
designed himself that can be purchased with funds going to
non-profit organizations that are making a difference in our
world.
Angelwear.com
To view and/or purchase the t-shirts created by Steven Tyler click
on the link above to angelwear.com. At this site there are
other items for sale as well tanks, tops, notepads and greeting
cards too, everything has been made by a musician, or artist
or celebrity of film/tv. There is also a latest addition
(besides t-shirts n tanks) fans can download all the designs as
digital wallpaper for their mobile phones and a high tech charity
wristband that phones can wear and these funds will also go the
participating artist or celebritys charity of choice. |

In other news we are happy to
report that Steven Tyler Aerosmith's flashy frontman is happily
involved in a new relationship with Tour Promoter Erin Brady.
The two have been an item since Tyler was recovering from throat
surgery on his vocal chords in March of 2006. Erin reportedly
accompanied him on a vacation to Mexico and helped him with his
recovery. So from this we can gather that our Lead Singer and
Frontman of Aerosmith
is Back in the Saddle, so to
speak.

Reviews n New Albums on the Way |
 | For all of us fans who have been hoping and waiting for a new
Aerosmith album - it is set to be released on October 10 2006.
Their new album to be called "Devil's Got a New Disguise"
(title subject to change) it gets its name from one of the two new
songs on the 16 track Greatest Hits compilation. The second of
the new songs is entitled "Sedona Sunrise". Tyler
has stated they're putting this Greatest Hits Disc out to hold the
fans over until their new Studio album can be finished off and released sometime in or about the Spring of 2007. Aerosmith and
their frontman are to resume working on their studio album in
February of the New Year. |
 | Just a few words of review regarding Aerosmith's new tour with
Motley Crue. Aerosmith, and especially frontman Steven Tyler
completely and totally stole the show and outperformed Motley
Crue. The Crue may have been the loudest of the two bands but
Aerosmith easily outplayed each member of The Crue. |
 | For a look at the stage Motley Crue designed for their part in the
co-headlined tour go to aerosmithsites.com |

 | Make a note Aerosmith Fans that Steven Tyler, the frontman for the
band Aerosmith will be appearing on CBS in a
Prime-Time Hit Comedy Series in late September. Tyler is
set to appear on "Two and a Half Men" starring
Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer. Tyler's role has him
playing Charlie Harper's famous new Malibu neighbor. Tyler and
Charlie don't hit it off - actually they do not get
along. The Rocker likes to play his music far
too loud for Charlie's liking, and causes problems for Harper as
well, played by Charlie Sheen. |
 | Steven Tyler previously appeared on the show back in 2003 doing a
voice-over as himself. This new episode of "Two And A
Half Men" will be entitled "Who's Vod Kanockers"
This episode starring Aerosmith's frontman Steven Tyler is set to
air September 25th, at 9 PM (ET/PT) |
 | As Aerosmith kicks off their new "Route of
All Evil" tour all of the bands familiar faces won't be gracing
the stage. Tom Hamilton, longtime bassist for Aerosmith, is
recovering from a seven-week radiation treatment for throat
cancer. The band's publicist Marcee Rondan said that
Hamilton will be missing the beginning of the tour as he recovers at
home with his family. Reportedly he will be joining the
"Route of All Evil" tour around mid-October.
Longtime friend of the band David Hull, is going to fill in as
bassist until Hamilton returns in the middle of October. David
Hull also contributed his skills on bass to The Joe Perry
Project. |
 | Rondan
reported that at this time there is no other news or information on
Tom Hamilton's condition.
|
 | Fans
for Aerosmith have been eagerly awaiting news on the bands
next album. Phenomenal news for all of us 'die-hard' Aerosmith
fans is - the hoping and waiting is over!!! Aerosmith
reportedly began work on their newest album on Armed Forces Day
2006. As previously noted Steven Tyler and Joe Perry appeared
together over the Memorial Day weekend but unbeknownst until
recently, they also nailed an unexpected performance with the Boston
Pops Orchestra. It was the annual July 4th (2006)
Concert on the Esplanade, which also marked a huge milestone for the
Aerosmith Frontman with his first '... walking in the
sand..' or namely his first major event or musical
performance since the extensive throat surgery he underwent in late
March. In other eagerly awaited news, The Aerosmith Band ready
themselves as they near the commencement of their Route
of All Evil Tour, with Mötley
Crüe early in the fall. Aerosmith
triumphantly heads out on the road in preparation for the unveiling
of their new album which is targeted for release in the Spring of
2007.

Tommy
Lee and band members Jason Newssted and Gilby Clark are being sued
for use of the name Supernova on the summer hit reality show Rockkstar
Supernova. They are being sued by the original bandmembers of
the punk band Supernova which was formed back in 1989 in Orange
County, California. The original Supernova trio had requested
that Tommy Lee, Jason Newssted and Gilby Clark - the future
Supernova, make a change to their use of the already taken name or
add a word(s) to it. When the future Supernova refused to
alter their use of the Supernova name the original Supernova
bandmembers filed a preliminary injunction against the future band
members, as well as Mark Burnett Productions and CBS
Broadcasting. This injunction seeks to halt the act from
recording or performing under this name.

half of Steven Tyler's age. |
 | Steven Tyler did undergo surgery for a strain to
his vocal chords in late March 2006. He was instructed by
doctors to take time off and give his vocal chords and throat a well
deserved recovery period. Over the Memorial Day weekend Tyler
did make an appearance with lead guitarist and longtime buddy Joe
Perry. All reports from that appearance indicate that the
Rocker seems to be recovering well (ahead of schedule even) from his

 | We were at a show
for their Rockin the Joint Tour in Toronto, Ontario at the Air
Canada Centre. The former 'Toxic Twins' (as they were known in
the 70's) looked great and served up an intoxicating performance.
Steven Tyler hit all the high notes that he is known for, and Joe
Perry blew us away with his stinging guitar solos. Lenny
Kravitz also blew off the roof with his opening show. |
 | Aerosmith and Lenny
Kravitz "Rockin' The Joint" Tour |
 | Aerosmith were
forced to shorten their "Rockin The Joint" Tour due to a
throat condition that plagued Steven Tyler. Thankfully he
recovered from his ailment and the band is set to return to the road
Sept 14, and begin the next part of their tour with Motley Crue
filling the bill as the opening show. |
